I am a seed

Anxious to be buried

Sink me in the ground

Let me dig my hands in soil

Stretch my feet along the bank

Quiet as I grow now

Silent in my shell

Bursting through the grass

I’ll rally to the sky

Hover through plains

The truth is when I died

I really came alive

Growing, sprawling, building again

Time turns me into leaves

Softly I’ll float down

Never will I end
